Product Description
Product Description
Girdin was discovered by a study group led by Takahashi as a new protein playing an important role in the infiltration and metastasis of cancer cells. It has been shown that Girdin, phosphorylated by the enzyme Akt/PKB within cancer cells, enhances the infiltration potential of cancer cells. It has, therefore, been suggested that if the activity of girdin is suppressed, it may be possible to develop a drug which can suppress the progression of cancer.
