We exhibited at 47th Annual Scientific Meeting of the Japan Atherosclerosis Society 2015 with our affiliate company, Skylight Biotech Inc. at Sendai International Center in Sendai from 9th July 2015 (Thu) to 10th July 2015 (Fri).

We mainly introduced LipoSEARCH and Metabolic Syndrome related Assay Kits at the exhibition.

They also provides customized biomarker testing services for life-style related diseases using our ELISA kits.

We have many products related to lipid metabolism ELISA kits inclusive lipase. Lipase is a digestive enzyme that has a role of digestion of lipid protein in the body. We also have a comprehensive product lineup of adipocytokine that is a bioactive protein secreted from lipoid cells. Accumulating of visceral fat is considered as a cause of metabolic syndrome. 

Abnormal secretion of adipocytokine is triggered by growing and hypertrophying of lipid cells once visceral fat is accumulated. Arteriosclerosis is accelerated by this event and it becomes a cause of aggravating conditions of diabetes, hypertension and lipid disorder.

There are several adipocytokines and the functions are various.  Some adipocytokine promote arteriosclerosis such as TNFα and PAI-1 and others have a role of preventing of arteriosclerosis such as Leptin, Adiponectin, FGF21 and Omentin-1.
